All Mike Randall Design (MRD) products are meticulously hand crafted and go through rigorous testing before shipping / delivery to the client. All electrical components carry UL certification and all lighting is certified by Intertek for use in Canada. Please find MRD’s Care Instructions and Warranty Information below along with information on the Annual Service Subscription. In the unlikely event of a fault in one of the components, please contact MRD directly using the email below.

Care for your Product

Wood

MRD only uses North American Hardwoods and ‘home friendly’ finishes. As a result there are some cleaning / care tips that can help make your product look amazing well into the future.

  • Use a soft microfibre cloth to remove dust and loses debris.

  • Use only a mild soap and water to remove dirt. IMPORTANT in the case of lighting only use a DAMP cloth to remove stubborn buildup.

  • Depending on the finish used, it may be necessary to touch up or remove scuffs and scratches. If this is the case please contact MRD directly for information pertaining to your specific product.

LED’s

Please do not try and repair or alter the electronics without contacting MRD first. Parts and service advice are available and any attempt to repair without first contacting MRD will automatically void any remaining warranty.


Warranty

Furniture

1 year warranty of all manufacturing defects. Damage due to misuse or incorrect care and cleaning is not covered. For details on care and cleaning please see the Care for your Product section above. Warranties do not cover any shipping and installation costs incurred .

Lighting

1 year repair or replacement warranty on all manufacturing defects. Damage due to misuse or incorrect care and cleaning is not covered. For details on care and cleaning please see the Care for your Product section above.

This is followed by the limited warranties offered by the component manufacturers. This will cover the purchase cost of the faulty component but does not cover any shipping or installation costs incurred. Please note that manufacturers may remove products from their catalogue at any time and, while MRD will do their upmost to source a similar replacement, they can not be held responsible for this.

International Customers:

Unfortunately, due to excessive shipping and brokerage costs, MRD is unable to offer the above warranties to international customers. However, it may be possible, depending on the product, to have parts shipped directly from the suppliers. Please contact MRD using the email below if you have any issues and we will work out the best way to help you.


Annual Service Subscription

While all electronics have a finite lifespan the fixtures themselves will last a lifetime. This is why all MRD lighting products are serviceable and MRD offers an annual service subscription that covers replacement parts and labour (travel expenses and shipping are not included as it varies so much from customer to customer). This is designed specifically for commercial clients but can also be offered to private clients too, for that extra peace of mind. Please contact MRD directly to discuss plans and options.
